Presentation templates (Skins):  use an HTML based define the overall structure, livery and style of a page.  Skins enable the creation of unique visual identities or content presentations for differrent site sections/visitor needs. Cobra-cms also supports CSS positioning (tableless) page designs.

Content  templates:  are not unlike Dreamweaver templates. They define the structure and editable regions of a page that authors use to create content from.   Each editable region has an edit control which defines exactly what editing actions a user can perform within it.  Content templates are a simple mix of HTML and Cobra-cms tags.

Content grouping (lists):  Cobra-cms supports the grouping together of content into a list.  This grouping enable large amounts of content to be broken up into pages and automatically linked together by a set different navigation controls.  An example would be grouping press releases or newsletters.

Libraries (Images, Flash & Files ):  Libraries can hold a range of objects such as commonly used text or images, fragments of HTML and JavaScript along with flash files and their associated HTML. Libraries enable media professionals to add rich media content to a site, which can then be easily accessed and used by non technical authors.
